Flovera Construction Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Houston, Tx. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating construction projects from start to finish, including the planning, execution, and final delivery of the project. The Project Manager will work closely with the construction team, clients, and vendors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, to the highest quality standards, and as safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Hold turn over meetings with project team prior to project start.
- Make regular site visits to ensure project progress.
- Plan and organize construction projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and construction team to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop project schedules and budgets, and manage project progress to ensure that deadlines and cost goals are met.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of the construction team, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to ensure that their needs are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that project objectives are met.
- Provide regular project status updates to the company’s management team and clients.
- Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored in proper location.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Manage project closeout and turnover to the client.
- Assist estimating manager in bidding process.
- Submit monthly billings to client and company management.
- Monitor budgets, weekly costs, and final projections.
- Manage payments, change orders, and other contract adjustments.
Requirements:
- Must be a citizen of the United States of America
- 5-7 years of experience in construction project management
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of construction management methodologies and techniques
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Strong ability to lead and motivate teams
- Strong ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to lift heavy materials
- Travel as needed
Education and Qualifications:
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Professional certification in project management, such as PMP (preferred)
- OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification or higher (preferred)
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish (preferred)
