Flovera Construction Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders and other heavy equipment needed for the job. The Equipment Operator will work closely with the construction team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and make basic repairs as needed
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed.
- Communicate with construction team to coordinate equipment needs
- Work with construction team to complete projects on time and within budget
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report to supervisor.
- Maintain good housekeeping of worksite and company equipment.
Requirements:
- Travel is required
- 3-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift heavy materials and physical fitness
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Must be a citizen of the United States of America
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification or higher (preferred)
- Equipment certification (preferred)
