Flovera Construction Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Mixer Driver to join our team in Houston, Tx. The Concrete Mixer Driver will be responsible for operating a concrete mixer truck to transport and deliver concrete to construction sites. The Concrete Mixer Driver will work closely with the construction team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a concrete mixer truck to transport and deliver concrete to construction sites.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, including checking brakes, lights, oil, fuel, and other fluid levels.
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed while operating the truck.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving the truck.
- Communicate with construction team to coordinate concrete delivery needs.
- Work with construction team to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation, including delivery tickets, daily logs, and other required documents
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience driving concrete mixer trucks
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret delivery tickets and other documents
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification or higher
