Flovera Construction Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our growing construction team. The Carpenter will be responsible for preparing and setting wooden and steel forms for sidewalks, roads, concrete structures, and foundations. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete construction and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare concrete surfaces by building and setting concrete forms
- Mix and pour concrete for sidewalks, roads, and building foundations
- Use power tools to finish concrete surfaces
- Communicate with construction team to coordinate concrete needs
- Work with construction team to complete projects on time and within budget
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies and procedures
- Place/build forms to proper dimensions and grades
- Maintain good housekeeping on work site and company property
Requirements:
- Ability to read and comprehend project plans is a plus
- Experience in concrete construction
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks
- Good understanding of safety protocols
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Must be a citizen of the United States of America
- Travel is required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification or higher (preferred)
